Our Story
Hello, I'm Suzanna, owner of Susu's Cakes. I create unique bespoke cakes for any occasion, in addition to this I make sugar flowers and models to order.
I take great pride in my work and like to push the boundaries of cake decorating. Whilst this is a new business, I already have many years of experience making and decorating cakes. It all started in 2013 when I attended a cake decorating course at a local college, from the first class, I was instantly hooked. I wanted to learn more and I did. Just a couple of short years later I decided to enter Cake International.
It was daunting but exhilarating and I was so proud to be awarded a bronze by the judges. Since then I have been awarded another bronze and a silver. I never dreamed that my much loved hobby would become my career but after being made redundant from my job of 17 years, I decided to follow my dreams and passion.. and here I am, the rest is yet to be written.
